Children’s Introduction to the Horse

From 10 am to 12:30pm

Limited to only 20 children, sign up quickly for an amazing experience

Horses are amazing animals and we all at Serenity want every child to experience their amazing intelligence, kindness and beauty.  Every moment spent with these amazing animals teaches child and adult life experiences only a the horse can offer…

-Lunch will be included for all children (if your child has special dietary need please bring your own.

-A professional photographer will be taking photos for the event. You will be able to order photos at the conclusion of workshop.

-The event will be lead by certified trainers with assistance from apprentices and volunteers so each child will be fully supervised at all times.

-We hope whether it is a one-day of an amazing experience or the beginning of a unique new adventure of learning and bonding with such beloved animals each child will leave with a new experience that they will never forget!

The following is the planned events for the day

• Learning safety first, always a must and most important.
• Basic grooming and care of the horse.
• Learning about horses what they eat, how they spend their day working and playing.
• Learning the different styles of riding shown by our trainers.
• We will include fun and games all focused on the way of the ranch,

Drawing activities include coloring and learning the horse’s anatomy.  Each child will head home with a folder of the days teachings.

• Each child will get to ride, helmet provided and on a lung line, on our lesson horses.  They will also get to meet the whole heard with supervision at all times.
